The Arborealist ,The Art of Trees' or 'Les Arborealists, Les Arts des Arbres' was the first international exhibition and included thirty Arborealists at the Musee de St Benoit, near Poitiers, France.
The bi-lingual catalogue was the first collaboration between Guillaume Brandy and Philippa Beale, who curated the exhibition itself. It was also the first time the Arborealists had dealt with overseas logistics and introducing the visiting artists into the community. However the exhibition was described by journalists as 'sublime' and visiter numbers rocketed after all the press coverage. Two journalists told Philippa Beale, that it was the best exhibition they had seen at the museum since they had been covering events there. The exhibition then travelled to London to the Bermondsey Project Space, also curated by Philippa Beale, which happened to also be the Arborealists first London show.
