The Arborealists are supporting the Queen's green canopy project by creating exhibitions about trees and the natural process of replacing or restoring damaged or missing trees in rural and urban places.
The Arborealists have recently supported Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks by exhibiting in venues in Exmoor and Plymouth with proceeds going to buying badly needed trees. The rewilding of forests is becoming increasingly important to the Arborealists and supporting George Peterkin OBE with the first pilot site at Lady Park Wood became our first insight into the importance of regeneration.
As artists whose main theme is trees, supporting regeneration and rewilding across the United Kingdom is now one of our main focuses. As well as producing paintings of trees we hope to evoke an understanding of the conservation value of restoration through transforming forestry plantations to wilder forests for people to visit and enjoy.
